What Is Collagen for Dogs?

Collagen for dogs is a daily protein supplement made from hydrolysed collagen peptides, broken down into small fragments the body can absorb and use. It is not a treat and it is not a medicine. It is a structural nutrient fed consistently to support the tissues that take the most wear over a dog's life: joints, cartilage, tendons, skin and coat.

HighV Collagen+ combines three types of collagen in one liquid. Type I is the main collagen in skin, tendons and bone. Type II is the collagen found in cartilage. Type III supports skin elasticity and the gut wall. Using all three, rather than a single type, gives broader support than most single-source collagen products.
